Olivia Colman debuts striking silver-gray hair at the Zurich Film Festival premiere.

Olivia Colman debuted long, flowing silver-gray curls at the Zurich Film Festival premiere of Wicker on September 28, replacing her familiar cropped brunette hairstyle. The look, reportedly her longest since 2017, accompanied her appearance with co-star Alexander Skarsgård. Wicker is a fantasy romantic comedy about a lonely fisherwoman who commissions a basket weaver, played by Peter Dinklage, to make her a wicker husband brought to life by Skarsgård. The film is scheduled for release in the UK on October 30.
Wicker is directed by Alex Huston Fischer and Eleanor Wilson and is based on Ursula Wills-Jones’s short story “The Wicker Husband.”
Alexander Skarsgård wears full-body prosthetics in the film; joking about the role, he said his dream was “to have nipples made out of wicker,” and credited the directors and Wētā artists in New Zealand.
Colman had already offered a glimpse of her new hairstyle at a Letters Live photo call at London’s Royal Festival Hall earlier in September, but Zurich was its first red-carpet appearance.
At the Zurich premiere, Colman paired the new hairstyle with a white outfit featuring a bow detail and matching trousers; one report described the top as high-low and noted point-toe heels and dangling earrings.
