Panthers cornerback Jaycee Horn is sidelined indefinitely following a torn quad.

Carolina Panthers cornerback Jaycee Horn suffered a torn quad late in Sunday’s 21-18 loss to the Cleveland Browns and is out indefinitely. He is expected to be placed on injured reserve and could miss the rest of the 2026 season, though he is seeking a second opinion. Horn was injured on Cleveland’s game-winning touchdown, a loss that also saw starting cornerback Mike Jackson leave with a groin injury.
Wide receiver Jalen Coker suffered a minor quad strain and was considered questionable for the Panthers’ upcoming Sunday night game against the Detroit Lions; he had also been dealing with an ankle injury.
Quarterback Bryce Young and left guard Damien Lewis also left the Browns game with lower-body and elbow injuries, respectively, but both returned in the second half.
Linebacker Devin Lloyd missed the game with a calf injury, one week after recording two interceptions and a touchdown in Carolina’s win over Atlanta.
Horn had made the Pro Bowl in each of the previous two seasons and signed a four-year, $100 million contract extension with Carolina in March 2026, including $72 million guaranteed.
