AI Agent Security Firm Reco Secures $55 Million to Fuel Rapid Expansion

AI agent security company Reco raised $55 million in a strategic funding round led by AT&T Ventures, bringing its total funding to $140 million. New investors Forestay and Quadrille Capital also participated, and Reco plans to use the money to expand sales, partnerships, channels and customer support. The New York-based company helps organizations discover active AI agents, track their identities, permissions and access to data and systems, and address risky or excessive access as enterprise use of agents grows.
Reco’s valuation has more than doubled since its $30 million Series B in February, and its annual recurring revenue is in the tens of millions of dollars, with the company expecting ARR to triple this year.
AT&T Ventures head Vikram Taneja said AT&T is both an investor and a customer, adding that Reco’s visibility and governance approach matches enterprise needs as AI-agent adoption evolves.
Reco’s Reco Graph maps connections among agents, accounts, API connections, sessions, MCP tools, workflows and employee applications, helping security teams identify exposure and remediate it.
Gartner forecasts that the average Fortune 500 company will have more than 150,000 agents in use by 2028, compared with fewer than 15 in 2025.
