Minnesota Twins Center Fielder Byron Buxton Will Miss Rest Of Season Following Hip Surgery

Minnesota Twins center fielder Byron Buxton is set to undergo arthroscopic hip surgery and will miss the rest of the season due to the injury. Buxton, who was voted as an All-Star starter but missed the game due to this injury, is expected to be fully recovered for 2027. The Twins have recalled outfielder Emmanuel Rodriguez from Triple-A St. Paul. Bux has hit the 100-game mark only three times in 12 major league seasons.
