Rehmann Capital Increases Key ETF Stakes, Signaling Broader U.S. Equity Rebalancing.

For iShares MSCI USA Min Vol Factor ETF (USMV), Rehmann Capital Advisory Group reported it held 308,099 shares after buying an additional 9,641 shares in Q4. USMV was described as ~1.5% of the firm’s portfolio, the 11th-biggest holding, and worth about $29.435 million in the filing.
In iShares Core S&P Small-Cap ETF (IJR), Rehmann said it increased its stake 3.4%—to 229,364 shares after adding 7,598 shares in Q4. The fund was ~1.4% of the portfolio (13th-largest holding) and valued at about $27.824 million; the article also noted that 66.92% of IJR is owned by institutional investors and hedge funds.
Beyond Rehmann’s activity in iShares S&P 500 Value ETF (IVE), other investors made outsized moves—most notably Cassaday & Co Wealth Management LLC, which increased holdings by 3,286.8% in Q4 by buying an additional 1,119,709 shares, taking its total to 1,153,776 shares (about $244.681 million). The same article also cited additional buys/raises by Morgan Stanley, JPMorgan Chase, and Envestnet Portfolio Solutions.
For iShares Russell 1000 Growth ETF (IWF), the article reporting Rehmann’s 21.5% increase said the firm ended Q4 with 22,898 shares after buying 4,059 additional shares, valuing the position at about $10.838 million. It also highlighted other investors’ activity, including Concord Wealth Partners’ 210% increase (adding 42 shares) and Godsey & Gibb Inc.’s new stake.
Rehmann Capital Advisory Group quietly expanded its ETF holdings across multiple U.S. equity segments in Q4 2025, according to Watchlist News and Ticker Report. The Michigan-based wealth manager added shares in at least five major ETFs — covering value, growth, small-cap, mid-cap, and low-volatility strategies — as part of what analysts describe as a broad portfolio rebalancing.
The firm's largest ETF bet remains the iShares S&P 500 Value ETF (IVE), where it grew its stake by 4.3% to 684,489 shares. At the same time, it lifted its iShares Russell 1000 Growth ETF (IWF) position by 21.5% — the sharpest percentage jump among its disclosed moves.
Rehmann increased its stake in the iShares MSCI USA Min Vol Factor ETF (USMV) by 3.2%, adding 9,641 shares to reach 308,099 total, according to Watchlist News. The position is now worth roughly $29.4 million and ranks as the firm's 11th-largest holding — about 1.5% of its total portfolio.
In the iShares Core S&P Small-Cap ETF (IJR), Rehmann added 7,598 shares, a 3.4% increase, bringing its total to 229,364 shares valued at about $27.8 million, per Ticker Report. That makes IJR the firm's 13th-largest holding. Institutional investors and hedge funds own 66.92% of IJR overall, showing how much big money dominates the small-cap space.
Rehmann's biggest percentage move was in IWF. The firm bought 4,059 additional shares of the iShares Russell 1000 Growth ETF, lifting its total to 22,898 shares worth about $10.8 million, according to Ticker Report. A 21.5% increase in a single quarter shows strong conviction in large-cap growth stocks.
The firm also raised its SPDR S&P 400 Mid Cap Growth ETF (MDYG) stake by 3.6%, bringing its total to 331,315 shares, per Ticker Report. Mid-cap growth sits between the safety of mega-caps and the risk of small-caps — a sign that Rehmann sees room to run in the middle of the market.
Rehmann was not alone in buying IVE. Cassaday & Co. Wealth Management made a stunning move — it increased its IVE stake by 3,286.8% in Q4, buying 1,119,709 shares to reach a total of 1,153,776 shares worth about $244.7 million, according to Ticker Report. That dwarfs Rehmann's position by a wide margin.
Morgan Stanley, JPMorgan Chase, and Envestnet Portfolio Solutions also raised IVE positions during the same period, per Ticker Report. When this many large institutions buy the same fund at the same time, analysts call it a "consensus trade" — a sign that Wall Street broadly agrees on a value tilt right now.
Rehmann's moves together point to a classic "barbell" approach. On one end, it holds nearly $29.4 million in USMV — a fund designed to fall less than the market during downturns. On the other end, it sharply boosted IWF, a pure large-cap growth fund. The firm is trying to capture upside while limiting damage if stocks drop.
Rehmann also cut its iShares Core U.S. Aggregate Bond ETF (AGG) position by 25.1%, trimming to 47,659 shares worth about $4.76 million, according to Ticker Report. That suggests the firm is moving money out of bonds and into equities — a bet that stocks will outperform fixed income in the near term.
