Reality Star Lisa Vanderpump's New Hotel, The Vanderphendo, Officially Debuts on Las Vegas Strip

Lisa Vanderpump officially opened her first hotel on the Las Vegas Strip on June 13, 2026. The Vanderpump Hotel is a rebranded version of The Cromwell, a 188-room boutique property owned by Caesars Entertainment, WKRG reported.
The grand opening drew a star-studded crowd, including Sharon Osbourne, Lance Bass, and Garcelle Beauvais. The launch marks Vanderpump's fifth major Las Vegas venue in eight years — and her first full hotel.
The Cromwell has had many lives. It opened in 1979 as the Barbary Coast, became Bill's Gamblin' Hall in 2007, and was rebuilt as a $185 million boutique hotel in 2014. Now it carries the Vanderpump name, according to Las Vegas Review-Journal.
Caesars and Vanderpump announced the partnership in March 2025. Renovations took about 15 months. The 188 rooms went offline for 57 days — from February 15 to April 13, 2026 — for the most intensive work, CDC Gaming Reports noted.
Designer Nick Alain led the hotel's interior overhaul. A central walkway is lined with refurbished chandeliers saved from the original Barbary Coast resort. The design blends industrial style with high-end glamour, according to the Grand Opening Event Summary.
One standout feature is a lounge named for Vanderpump's late dog — a tribute to a pet well known to fans of her reality shows. Vanderpump said her goal was to create something "sumptuous with a unique atmosphere," per a Caesars Entertainment press release.
Caesars chose Vanderpump because she already had a built-in fan base. Sean McBurney, Caesars' regional president, said: "When you launch a new brand it's difficult... but with Vanderpump, she was already such an established brand," according to Las Vegas Review-Journal.
Industry analysts say Caesars is using "personality-driven hospitality" to compete with massive new resorts like Fontainebleau. A smaller, niche property can charge higher nightly rates without needing a huge casino floor, Travel Weekly reported.
Vanderpump has been clear about pricing. "I'm not going to price myself out of the market," she told CDC Gaming Reports. That signals a strategy of accessible luxury — high design without sky-high room rates.
Not everyone is sold. Regulars on Reddit have raised questions about whether the Vanderpump aesthetic can coexist with Drai's Nightclub, a high-energy venue that shares the property and draws a very different crowd. The tension between those two brands remains an open question.
