Blizzard announces a massive new Hearthstone expansion alongside the upcoming Monk class.

The expansion will feature the four major Old Gods—C’Thun, N’Zoth, Y’Shaarj and Yogg-Saron—as players join them in attempting to rule Azeroth.
Blizzard’s unified Journal will bring quests, achievements and seasonal events together on one screen, while tracking account milestones alongside each card set’s story.
Assemble combinations will draw from a curated pool of 250 cards, creating hundreds of possible fusion outcomes rather than a completely unrestricted card-merging system.
Blizzard unveiled paid pre-purchase packages, including a Mega Bundle with 80 expansion packs, 10 Golden packs, Signature and Golden Legendary cards, four Tavern Tickets, an Eonar Druid hero skin and a card back.
The Aberrations update is planned to arrive in Battlegrounds ahead of the card expansion, in late September; the new minions are described as products of void corruption and Old God experiments.
