Pakistan Cricket Board launches disciplinary inquiry after recalling seven players from England

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is conducting an internal "disciplinary" inquiry against unnamed players after recalling seven cricketers and two coaches from the tour of England. The move comes amid speculation that the PCB had obtained data from the mobile phones of Imam-ul-Haq and Mohammad Rizwan before they returned to Pakistan. The changes were made in response to Pakistan's two defeats at Lord's and Headingley in the first two tests of the three-match series. Test coach Sarfaraz Ahmed was replaced with Mike Hesson and bowling coach Ashley Noffke was brought in to take over from Umar Gul. Despite criticism from former Pakistan cricketer Shahid Afridi and Shoaib Malik, the changes have been defended by Aaqib Javed and PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi.
