IHCL Opens New Vivanta Gurugram Hotel, Bolstering National Capital Region Footprint

Wink is a rooftop bar with city views and crafted cocktails, while Tease is a poolside lounge for casual dining and beverages.
The hotel includes premium wellness amenities in addition to the visible fitness facilities.
Gurugram Sector 95A offers convenient access to major business districts and commercial hubs, reinforcing its role in Gurugram’s development as a key business corridor.
IHCL describes the Vivanta Gurugram Sector 95A as designed to meet today’s travellers with contemporary spaces and thoughtful service, underscoring the brand’s focus on modern business‑and‑leisure hospitality.
Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has opened Vivanta Gurugram Sector 95A, a 154-room hotel that becomes the company's eighteenth property in the National Capital Region, according to Economic Times Travel. The hotel sits near Gurugram's key commercial districts and targets both business and leisure travellers.
The opening comes as IHCL maintains a pipeline of 263 hotels across its portfolio. The company says 11 new properties launched in just the last quarter alone, according to Travel and Tour World.
Gurugram has grown into one of India's busiest corporate hubs. IHCL is betting on that growth. The new Vivanta property in Sector 95A gives the company a foothold in a part of the city with direct access to major business districts, according to Safari India. The location strengthens IHCL's reach across the wider NCR corridor.
Deepika Rao of IHCL said the opening "strengthens the Vivanta brand's presence" in the region. The Vivanta brand targets the upper-midscale segment — hotels that offer premium service without full luxury pricing. Travel and Tour World noted this adds to the brand's broader push across North India.
The hotel runs three food and drink outlets. Mynt is the main dining venue. Wink is a rooftop bar offering city views and crafted cocktails. Tease is a poolside lounge for casual drinks and light bites, according to Travel and Tour World. Together, the three venues aim to serve both hotel guests and outside visitors.
A rooftop pool sits alongside Wink, giving guests an outdoor space above the city. The property also includes a fitness centre and premium wellness facilities, according to Today's Traveller. Event and meeting spaces round out the offer for corporate clients and social gatherings.
Gurugram is no longer just a satellite city. It has become a major economic engine for the NCR. New road links, metro expansion, and a surge in corporate offices have all pushed travel demand higher in the area. IHCL points to this infrastructure growth as a key reason for the Sector 95A investment, according to Travel and Tour World.
Sector 95A itself sits along what IHCL calls a "key business corridor" within Gurugram. The area offers easy reach to established commercial zones in the city. Safari India reported the hotel is designed to serve travellers moving between these districts daily.
IHCL is growing fast. The company now holds a pipeline of 263 hotels yet to open. In just the last quarter, 11 new properties launched across its brands, which include Taj, SeleQtions, Vivanta, and Ginger. The Gurugram opening is part of that broader national push, according to Economic Times Travel.
The Vivanta brand sits in the middle of IHCL's portfolio — above the budget Ginger brand but below the flagship Taj. It targets modern travellers who want "contemporary spaces and thoughtful service," as IHCL describes it. The NCR now hosts 18 IHCL properties, making it one of the company's most concentrated markets in India.
