Ripple Mint Centralizes Institutional Access to RLUSD Stablecoin Across Multiple Blockchains

Ripple Mint is live for existing RLUSD customers as of the announcement.
Ripple Mint centralizes bridging across XRPL EVM Sidechain, Base, Optimism, Ink, and Unichain within the same console and API set.
Webhook lifecycle events are provided at each stage (fiat receipt, mint processing, on-chain settlement, payout completion) to enable real-time automation.
Ripple Mint is described as an exclusive project aimed at delivering automated stablecoin flows while maintaining regulatory compliance.
Ripple has launched Ripple Mint, a new institutional platform that lets financial firms mint, redeem, bridge, and monitor its RLUSD stablecoin through a single web console and API, according to CoinGape. The platform is live now for existing RLUSD customers, replacing the fragmented, manual workflows that institutions previously relied on to manage stablecoin operations.
RLUSD is now accessible across five additional blockchains: XRPL EVM Sidechain, Base, Optimism, Ink, and Unichain, Tron Weekly reported. The move signals Ripple's push to build broader institutional liquidity across the multi-chain crypto landscape while keeping the XRP Ledger at the center of its ecosystem.
Before Ripple Mint, institutional teams had to juggle separate tools to manage minting, redemption, and cross-chain transfers. Ripple Mint consolidates all of that into one platform, according to CoinPaper. Users can handle every step — from sending fiat to receiving stablecoins on-chain — without switching between systems.
The platform assigns consistent reference IDs to each transaction. This makes it easier to match fiat payments with on-chain settlements, a process called reconciliation. Tron Weekly noted the feature is designed to cut down on manual errors and save time for treasury and finance teams.
Ripple Mint sends webhook notifications at each step of a transaction's lifecycle. These alerts fire when fiat is received, when minting begins, when the stablecoin settles on-chain, and when a payout is complete, according to CoinDoo. Engineering teams can plug these events directly into their own systems to trigger automated actions.
This makes Ripple Mint useful for two different audiences. Human treasury teams get a clean dashboard for real-time monitoring and control. Developer teams get a programmable API layer they can integrate into existing financial infrastructure, CoinPaper reported.
Ripple Mint now bridges RLUSD across five blockchains beyond the XRP Ledger: XRPL EVM Sidechain, Base, Optimism, Ink, and Unichain. All five are managed from the same console and API set, CoinGape reported. This gives exchanges, market makers, and fintechs the flexibility to settle in whichever chain fits their operations.
The multi-chain approach is a direct response to how institutional liquidity actually moves. Large firms often operate across several networks at once. By offering one unified tool for all of them, Ripple is positioning RLUSD as a practical settlement layer, not just a single-chain stablecoin.
Alongside the Ripple Mint launch, Ripple has partnered with Notabene, a regulated on-chain transaction network, to expand RLUSD use in institutional payments, according to Head Topics. Notabene helps firms meet Travel Rule requirements — regulations that require sender and receiver data to move with crypto transactions.
The Notabene partnership shows that Ripple is not just focused on speed and access. Compliance is built into the expansion strategy. For regulated financial institutions like banks and asset managers, that combination — multi-chain reach plus built-in compliance — may be the deciding factor in adopting RLUSD at scale.
