Machinery & Equipment Appraisal Experts Launches Nationwide USPAP-Compliant Appraisal Services

The company says its launch covers both “commercial and consumer” machinery and equipment appraisal services—not just business valuations.
For manufacturing/industrial assets, the announcement lists specific equipment subtypes such as “injection molding,” “tool and die,” “structural steel,” “aluminum extrusion,” “blow molding,” and “thermoforming.”
For medical and laboratory equipment, the firm specifically names categories including “dental,” “imaging,” “cardiology,” “neurology,” “surgical,” and “analytical lab” assets.
In construction and heavy equipment, the service description goes beyond general types and explicitly includes “paving equipment” and “aggregate equipment” alongside cranes, excavators, bulldozers, and forklifts.
For transportation and fleet assets, the announcement explicitly includes “marine shipping equipment,” in addition to trucks and trailers.
Machinery & Equipment Appraisal Experts has launched nationwide machinery and equipment appraisal services that meet USPAP standards — the federal benchmark for certified valuations. The firm now covers all 50 states, serving lenders, attorneys, and government agencies with reports built for legal, tax, and financial use, according to Rutland Herald and Journal Gazette.
The launch spans ten major equipment categories — from manufacturing and construction to medical devices and marine shipping. The firm says reports are accepted by the IRS and the SBA, and are built to hold up in court.
The service goes well beyond general equipment types. For manufacturing, the firm lists specific subtypes like injection molding, blow molding, aluminum extrusion, and tool and die, according to Mountain Eagle. Medical coverage includes dental, imaging, cardiology, neurology, surgical, and analytical lab equipment — categories that have historically required separate specialist firms.
Construction coverage explicitly includes paving equipment and aggregate equipment alongside cranes, excavators, and bulldozers. The transportation category adds marine shipping equipment on top of standard trucks and trailers. That level of subtype detail is rare for a single national firm, Tioga Publishing reported.
USPAP — the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice — was set by Congress in 1989 after the Savings and Loan crisis. A USPAP-compliant report means it meets the exact format required by federal regulators, courts, and lenders. Without that certification, many banks and agencies will simply reject a valuation.
The SBA typically requires an independent appraisal for equipment-heavy loans where the asset value tops $50,000. The firm says its reports are accepted for mid-year IRS filings and SBA loan applications. It also handles portfolios worth hundreds of millions of dollars, according to KDH News.
The firm specifically targets urgent situations. It lists SBA loan deadlines, bankruptcy filings, estate settlements, divorce proceedings, insurance claims, and mergers and acquisitions as core use cases. In all of these, a slow or uncertified report can cost clients money or delay court proceedings.
The firm bridges the consumer side too — not just businesses. For individuals going through divorce or estate disputes, a USPAP report carries far more weight than a standard price guide. The firm says it can meet tight legal deadlines across all 50 states under one pricing structure, with no regional premium, according to Rutland Herald.
Not everyone is convinced. Some specialist appraisers argue that a firm covering ten categories cannot match the depth of one that focuses only on, say, aggregate equipment or agricultural machinery. They warn that hyper-local market knowledge — like farm equipment values in the Midwest versus the Pacific Northwest — gets lost at scale.
Supporters push back on that view. A senior credit officer at a major U.S. bank noted that having "a single firm that can handle a fleet of marine shipping containers and a laboratory of imaging equipment under one USPAP-compliant umbrella reduces administrative overhead." For lenders managing large, mixed-asset portfolios, that efficiency matters more than boutique depth.
