Wacha's eight-inning performance was nearly flawless. He scattered four singles across eight innings with no walks, striking out 10 batters in the process. This marks his third quality start against the Guardians this season, according to Kansas City, and he has limited Cleveland to just three earned runs over 22 innings pitched against them.

The Guardians simply could not solve Wacha's pitching. WRAL reported that Cleveland managed no extra-base hits and struggled to create any scoring opportunities, unable to find the approach needed to put runs on the board against the dominant right-hander.
