Taylor Swift skips the Emmy Awards for Chiefs game and appears in television cameo.

Pop superstar Taylor Swift chose the Kansas City Chiefs over the Emmy Awards, despite being nominated for outstanding variety special (pre-recorded) category at the Creative Arts Emmys. However, she still appeared in a pre-recorded segment of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" with Mariska Hargitay. This was the first time Swift has seen Travis Kelce play since their wedding. Their wedding was attended by celebrities including Adam Sandler, Stevie Nicks, and Adam Sander. Despite not being on tour, Kelce has been building his business portfolio, including buying a small share of David Blitzer's stake in his hometown Cleveland Guardians.
