Postal Worker Arrested After Stealing Package Containing $46K in Sports Cards

A U.S. Postal Service employee in Nebraska, Trenton Bogenreif, is accused of stealing a package containing six high-priced football and basketball cards worth nearly $46,000. One of the cards was later found for sale on Facebook Marketplace. Bogenresi was arrested on Aug. 30 and charged with theft by unlawful taking of $5,000 or more. The victim told police that he did not receive a package that was scheduled for delivery that day. Bogensreif remains in jail and bail has been set at $50,000; an investigation is ongoing.
