Falcons Defeat Packers

The Atlanta Falcons defeated the Green Bay Packers 35-14, largely due to the return of quarterback Michael Penix Jr. Robinson ran for 194 yards and two touchdowns, and the Falcons outrushed the Packers 242 yards to 17. This marked Green Bay's first home opener since 2012. The Packers had won 13 consecutive home openers from 2013-25, matching the NFL record with the Miami Dolphins. The loss was further exacerbated by the lack of discipline displayed by Green Bay in its first two games. Robinson and Drake London were the first teammates to each contribute at least 150 yards from scrimmage against the Packers.
