Chris Pratt's The Terminal List Season 2 Premieres October 21 on Prime Video, Expanding Global Espionage Plot

The Terminal List Season 2 is accompanied by a spin-off prequel, The Terminal List: Dark Wolf, which released last year and centers on Taylor Kitsch's Ben Edwards.
Season 2 is produced as a multi-studio collaboration with Amazon MGM Studios, MRC and Civic Center Media handling production, expanding the franchise's backing beyond Prime Video alone.
The authenticity program for Season 2 is overseen by Jared Shaw (a former Navy SEAL) and Max Adams, with military veterans contributing as writers, on-set advisors and other roles to preserve realism.
Kat Samick is listed as an executive producer on Season 2 through Fuqua Films, adding another production leadership layer to the series.
Chris Pratt is back as Navy SEAL James Reece. Prime Video has set October 21, 2026 as the premiere date for The Terminal List Season 2, with all eight episodes dropping on the same day in more than 240 countries and territories.
The new season adapts Jack Carr's novel True Believer, shifting the story from a personal revenge thriller to a globe-trotting spy mission. Reece travels from Moscow to Africa, the Middle East, and Europe, taking on what the show calls "unknown conspiratorial forces" threatening world order, according to Forbes.
Season 1 followed Reece on a dark, personal mission to avenge his fallen teammates. Season 2 opens the map wide. The story now spans Moscow, Langley, the Indian Ocean, Africa, the Middle East, and Europe. It is a full pivot from psychological thriller to international spy drama, Startup Hub reported.
The season is based on True Believer, the second book in Jack Carr's James Reece series. Carr serves as an executive producer alongside Chris Pratt, director Antoine Fuqua, and showrunner David DiGilio. Kat Samick also joins as an executive producer through Fuqua Films.
Returning cast members include Tom Hopper, Constance Wu, Dar Salim, and Luke Hemsworth. Gabriel Luna is the most notable new addition to the main cast, according to Yahoo News.
The international roster expands the show's global feel. Costa Ronin, Olga Kurylenko, Yul Vazquez, Martin Sensmeier, Arnold Vosloo, and Shiraz Tzarfati all join the season. The wider cast mirrors the story's shift to a world-spanning mission.
The show is known for its real-world military accuracy. Season 2 keeps that standard in place. The authenticity program is led by Jared Shaw, a former Navy SEAL, and Max Adams. Veterans serve as writers, on-set advisors, and in other key roles throughout production.
Production is a multi-studio effort. Amazon MGM Studios, MRC, and Civic Center Media are all involved. That is a broader backing than Season 1, which signals how much the franchise has grown since Pratt first played Reece in 2022.
Season 2 is not the only new entry in the Terminal List universe. A prequel spin-off called The Terminal List: Dark Wolf released last year. It centers on Taylor Kitsch as Ben Edwards, Reece's close ally from Season 1, Forbes noted.
With the spin-off already out and Season 2 arriving October 21, Prime Video is building the Terminal List into a full franchise. First-look photos and official images have been released ahead of the premiere to build early buzz.
