Capital B Expands Bitcoin Holdings to 3,521 After Latest Purchase

The purchase was executed through Swissquote Bank Europe SA, a virtual-asset service provider registered with Luxembourg’s CSSF, while custody was supported by Taurus infrastructure.
The transaction was Capital B’s largest Bitcoin acquisition since September 2025, when it bought 551 BTC; the company had purchased only six BTC in the preceding month.
The financing expanded Capital B’s share count to 382,506,040 ordinary shares. The company said executives owned 5.55%, Blockstream Capital Partners 18.77%, Adam Back 17.64%, TOBAM 3.16% and UTXO Management 1.11%, with the remaining 53.77% held by the public and other institutional investors.
Capital B’s Bitcoin holdings had a reported net asset value of €240.8 million, or approximately $279.7 million, according to the company’s release.
The company has said it is exploring a Bitcoin-backed credit product for the European market, modeled on products being developed by Strategy and Strive.
France-based Bitcoin treasury company Capital B bought 376 BTC for €25.3 million, bringing its total holdings to 3,521 BTC, according to Cointelegraph. The purchase was funded by roughly €30.1 million in recent financing, including a €28.7 million private placement and a €1.44 million at-the-market offering. The new Bitcoin was acquired well below Capital B's blended average cost of €87,878 per BTC.

Company executives hold 5.55%, while UTXO Management holds 1.11%, leaving 53.77% with public and other institutional investors.
Capital B bought the 376 BTC at an average price of €67,287 per coin, well below its blended average acquisition cost of €87,878 per BTC, according to TradingView. The purchase brought the company's total investment in Bitcoin to €309.4 million. Capital B reported a year-to-date BTC yield of 2.17%.
