REAP Financial Alters Its ETF Portfolio, Reducing Stakes in Buffer Funds While Expanding Others

REAP Financial Group LLC reported mixed changes to its ETF holdings in recent SEC filings, trimming positions in some buffer ETFs while adding to others. The firm cut its stake in the FT Vest U.S. Equity Deep Buffer ETF – November (DNOV) by 19.1% to about $4.9 million and reduced its holding in the FT Vest U.S. Equity Moderate Buffer ETF – January (GJAN) by 6.6% to roughly $20.6 million. At the same time, REAP increased its stake in the Vanguard FTSE Emerging Markets ETF (VWO) by 10.7%, boosting the position to about $11.0 million. REAP also raised its investment in the FT Vest U.S. Equity Buffer ETF – November (FNOV) by 33.0%, bringing that position to approximately $5.2 million. Other institutional investors made offsetting trades across these funds, with several increasing their exposures during the same reporting periods.
For the FT Vest U.S. Equity Deep Buffer ETF – November (DNOV), REAP reported holding 100,762 shares after selling 23,753 shares in the fourth quarter, with the position worth about $4,921,000 and representing roughly 1.39% of the company’s portfolio.
For the FT Vest U.S. Equity Moderate Buffer ETF – January (GJAN), REAP held 481,783 shares after cutting 34,025 shares in the fourth quarter. The ETF made up about 4.2% of REAP’s portfolio, ranking as its 5th largest holding.
For the Vanguard FTSE Emerging Markets ETF (VWO), REAP reported owning 205,349 shares after adding 19,923 shares in the fourth quarter. VWO accounted for about 2.2% of REAP’s holdings, making it the company’s 11th biggest position.
For the FT Vest U.S. Equity Buffer ETF – November (FNOV), REAP reported owning 94,828 shares after purchasing an additional 23,517 shares in the fourth quarter. FNOV represented about 1.1% of REAP’s holdings (its 26th largest position), and the ETF traded in a 1-year range of $48.43 to $58.52, with shares opening at $58.36.
Other investors made notably large moves alongside REAP—for example, Union Bancaire Privée UBP SA boosted its VWO stake by 4,458.1% during the fourth quarter, increasing its position to 195,633 shares after purchasing an additional 191,341 shares.
