Top 4-Star Safety Adryan Cole Commits to Georgia's Highly Touted 2027 Class

Per Rivals Industry Rankings, Cole is the highest-ranked defensive back in Georgia’s 2027 class and was the seventh defensive-back commit for the Bulldogs at the time of his pledge.
Georgia head coach Kirby Smart and staff highlighted long-standing relationships and player development as pivotal to Cole’s decision, with Cole noting that he had been building ties with Georgia since seventh grade and specifically naming T-Rob, Coach Thacker, and Kirby Smart as influential in his commitment.
Adryan Cole, a four-star safety from Douglas County High School in Douglasville, Georgia, has committed to Georgia football for the 2027 class. Sic 'Em Dawgs reported that Cole chose the Bulldogs over LSU, Florida, and Ole Miss, becoming the 19th commit in Georgia's highly ranked 2027 recruiting class.
Cole stands around 6-foot-2 and 190 pounds. On3 ranks him No. 158 overall and No. 12 among safeties nationally. He is the highest-ranked defensive back in Georgia's current 2027 class.
Cole drew roughly 45 scholarship offers from programs across the country. Finalists included Florida, LSU, Ole Miss, and Ohio State. He took official visits to Florida, LSU, and Ole Miss in May and June before making his choice. Saturday Down South noted that Georgia beat out three SEC rivals to land the in-state prospect.

Cole specifically named T-Rob (Travaris Robinson), Coach Thacker, and head coach Kirby Smart as key figures in his decision. Sports Yahoo reported that Cole described fulfilling a "childhood dream" with the commitment. Relationship-building and player development were the two biggest factors he cited.
Cole is the seventh defensive back committed to Georgia in the 2027 class. Sic 'Em Dawgs noted that Kirby Smart and his staff have made developing defensive backs a core part of the program's identity. Smart has produced multiple NFL-caliber DBs in recent years.
With 19 commits, Georgia's 2027 class is already drawing attention as one of the top groups in the SEC. Cole's addition as the highest-ranked DB in the class gives the Bulldogs a strong in-state anchor on the defensive side of the ball.
