PlayStation Plus Announces Extensive August 2026 Lineup with New Monthly Games and Catalog Titles

The August 2026 PS Plus Game Catalog adds 10 new titles, with an extra twist: two PS2-era classics are included exclusively in the Premium tier.
Helldivers 2 is available immediately to Plus Extra members, while the remaining nine catalog titles are scheduled to join on August 18 in most regions; catalog titles stay in the service until Sony removes them.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is part of the Game Catalog and is listed as a PS5 title with an August 18 release for all regions.
Hell is Us is released on a staggered schedule, arriving August 18 for most regions but delayed to August 25 in the US, UK, and Japan.
Other catalog titles set for August include Metro Exodus, Umamusume Pretty Derby – Party Dash, and Two Point Museum, with August 18 universal dates for most regions and August 25 in the US/UK/Japan for some titles.
Sony has revealed the full PlayStation Plus lineup for August 2026, adding 10 new titles to the Game Catalog and three free monthly games for all members. IGN confirmed the headliners include Helldivers 2, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, and Vampire Survivors, with monthly games available from August 4 through August 31.
Helldivers 2 stands out as the most immediate addition — it is available right now for Plus Extra members without waiting. The rest of the catalog titles join on August 18 in most regions, according to Gaming Amigos.
Every PS Plus member gets three free games this month. VGChartz confirmed they are Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Reloaded Edition, Big Walk, and Signalis. All three are available from August 4 through August 31.
A bonus Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls pack also launches on August 6 for all members. After August 31, the monthly games leave the lineup unless you have already added them to your library.
The August Game Catalog adds 10 titles in total. IGN listed the key games as Helldivers 2, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, Vampire Survivors, Hell is Us, Metro Exodus, Two Point Museum, Umamusume Pretty Derby – Party Dash, and Dying Light 2.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is a PS5-only title and joins the catalog on August 18 in all regions. NotebookCheck noted that Hell is Us follows a split schedule — August 18 everywhere except the US, UK, and Japan, where it arrives August 25 instead.
PS Plus Premium members get something extra this month. Sony is adding two PS2-era classic games to the Classics Catalog, available only to Premium subscribers. VGChartz confirmed these two titles are locked behind the top tier and will not be available to Extra or Essential members.
Premium is the most expensive PS Plus tier. It gives subscribers access to the full Game Catalog, cloud streaming, and these retro classics. The two PS2 games add nostalgic value for long-time PlayStation fans.
Not every title drops on the same day. Most catalog games arrive August 18 for the majority of regions worldwide. However, Gaming Amigos reported that some titles — including Hell is Us — are delayed to August 25 specifically in the US, UK, and Japan.
Helldivers 2 is the only title available immediately for Plus Extra members. Unlike monthly games, catalog titles stay in the service until Sony decides to remove them. There is no set end date announced for any of the August additions.
