Florida Football Enters US LBM Coaches Poll at No. 25 After Opening Win

Florida football broke into the US LBM coaches poll after its 66-21 season-opening win over Florida Atlantic. The Florida Gators scored 624 yards of offense in the win, marking their most points in a season opener since the 1994 season. The team improved to 90-30 all-time in season openers, including a 72-8 record in Gainesville. Florida will next face FCS opponent Campbell on September 12 at The Swamp. The Gators are one of nine SEC teams ranked in the US Top 25, following a 16-0 win over Georgia.
