Kentucky State Police Investigate Trooper-Involved Shooting and Search for Suspect on I-65

Kentucky State Police are investigating a trooper-involved shooting on I-65 in Warren County. Authorities sought an armed and dangerous suspect after a reported severe attack on law enforcement and were looking for a bluish-gray Honda Civic with Alabama plate TN018596, last reported traveling north near mile marker 75. I-65 North was reported closed near mile marker 30 amid a large police presence, but officials had not confirmed whether the closure was connected to the shooting. Kentucky State Police announced the investigation on social media just before 2 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 28.
Officials asked anyone who sees the Honda or knows where it is to call 911 or Kentucky State Police at 502-227-2221.
