Meghan Markle's Instagram post reveals Princess Lilibet wearing a special Beyoncé-themed T-shirt

The Beyoncé shirt worn by Princess Lilibet is described as the “B is for Beyoncé” tee from Los Angeles brand Anchors-N-Asteroids, made from “100% organic cotton” and featuring “exclusive sketches” from the brand’s then-15-year-old creative director, Pearl. Pearl and her mom, Gwynne, began designing clothes in 2020—Pearl drawing figures inspired by music, politics and history, with inspiration from her “tattoo artist” father—before turning those sketches into a clothing line that was previously sold to boutiques and museums.
At the couple’s 2019 “Lion King” premiere meeting, Beyoncé explicitly greeted Meghan with the words “My princess,” according to reporting describing the exchange as the two leaned in for a hug.
During that same 2019 encounter, the reporting quotes Jay-Z telling Harry and Meghan: “The best advice I can give you—always find some time for yourself.”
Complex, citing People, adds that Beyoncé and Jay-Z made a pointed show of support the same year at the Brit Awards—accepting an award while standing in front of a portrait of Meghan and calling her a “Melanated Mona” during their acceptance speech.
A Daily Mail account of the 2019 premiere conversation says Harry also appeared to ask Disney boss Bob Iger whether there were any “voiceover roles” for Meghan—after Iger replied with surprise at Meghan’s involvement in voice work.
Meghan Markle posted a personal Instagram carousel on June 9, captioned "Springing into summer," giving fans a rare look at family life in Montecito. The post quickly went viral — not for the soccer-playing or garden shots, but for a single cropped image of Princess Lilibet, who turned five on June 4, wearing a "B is for Beyoncé" T-shirt People.
The shirt sold for about $48 through the National Women's History Museum and was designed by a then-15-year-old artist named Pearl, creative director of the Los Angeles brand Anchors-N-Asteroids Marie Claire. Within hours of the post, searches for the brand spiked and the shirt was widely reported as sold out.
Pearl and her mother Gwynne founded Anchors-N-Asteroids in 2020. Pearl drew figures inspired by music, politics, and history — influenced by her tattoo-artist father. Those sketches became a clothing line sold to boutiques and museums Marie Claire.
The "B is for Beyoncé" tee is made from 100% organic cotton and features Pearl's illustrated portrait of Beyoncé, complete with hoop earrings. It retailed at $48 through the National Women's History Museum shop In Touch Weekly. Meghan cropped Lilibet's face from the photo to protect her privacy — but the shirt's logo was clearly visible, turning it into an instant talking point.
