Porsche Unveils Three Unique Toy Story 911s for Charity, Meticulously Crafted with Character Details

For Buzz Lightyear’s track-focused build (the 911 GT3 RS with Weissach package), Porsche didn’t use decals for the Space Ranger look: it “painted the graphics rather than applying them as decals,” adding Space Ranger logos on the hood, side intakes, and center caps; the car also uses custom Goodyear tires with Lightyear branding and the phrase “To Infinity and Beyond.”
Buzz’s interior is specified with particular materials and colorways—Pebble Grey leather, Arctic Grey Race-Tex, green stitching and seatbelts, plus Violeta leather on upper seat sections—with a Space Ranger logo embroidered into the headrests.
Woody’s Carrera T includes explicit character text and “western” cues beyond the denim finish: Porsche adds a bright red “Woody” graphic at the bottom of the doors, cowhide-pattern floor mats, red and Speed Yellow-printed leather on the doors like a button-up shirt, and illuminated lettering on the door sill reading “Ride Like the Wind.”
Porsche said its Sonderwunsch team “spent more than 350 hours hand-finishing each of the three vehicles” and “avoided the use of vinyl graphics entirely,” emphasizing the workshop-level approach taken for the 1-of-1 detailing.
At the launch, Porsche Cars North America CEO Timo Resch framed the effort as mentorship for young people—“This initiative will ultimately support children and families in need.”—while Big Brothers Big Sisters CEO Artis Stevens said the partnership would “expand access to life-changing programs,” ensuring “young people have a friend by their side who helps them reach their true potential.”
Porsche has unveiled three one-of-a-kind 911s inspired by Toy Story 5 — built around Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and Jessie — and will sell all three together to raise money for charity, according to Autoweek. The cars debuted on the red carpet at the Toy Story 5 premiere at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on June 9, with voice actors Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, and Joan Cusack in attendance.
Each car is a fully functional, road-legal 1-of-1 build. Porsche's Sonderwunsch — its bespoke "special wishes" workshop — spent more than 350 hours hand-finishing each vehicle. No vinyl was used anywhere. Every logo and graphic was painted by hand, Motor1 reported.
The Buzz Lightyear car is the most extreme of the trio. It uses a 911 GT3 RS with the Weissach performance package — Porsche's track-focused, weight-stripped variant. The rear wing is painted in white and Fire Red stripes to echo Buzz's flight wings. Custom Goodyear tires carry the "Lightyear" branding and the phrase "To Infinity and Beyond," according to Hagerty.
The Woody car is a 911 Carrera T. Paint specialists pressed real denim fabric into wet paint to create a physical texture that looks like jeans, Motor1 reported. Red and Speed Yellow leather on the door panels mimic a western button-up shirt. Illuminated door sills read "Ride Like the Wind." Cowhide-pattern floor mats and a bright red "Woody" graphic at the base of each door complete the look.
The Jessie build is a 911 Targa 4 GTS — and it features Porsche's new T-Hybrid system, which puts out 532 horsepower. The car is finished in a new color called Jessie White Metallic. The Targa bar carries the name "Jessie" in Porsche script. Inside, cow-print floor mats and denim-style stitching tie back to the character's cowgirl look, according to Hagerty.
The Buzz car's interior is equally specific. Porsche used Pebble Grey leather, Arctic Grey Race-Tex, green stitching, and green seatbelts. The upper seat sections are wrapped in Violeta leather. A Space Ranger logo is embroidered into each headrest. Autoweek noted the overall effect looks like a legitimate race livery rather than a movie tie-in.
All three cars will be sold together as a single lot. The money raised will go to Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, the American Red Cross, and the Starlight Children's Foundation. Porsche Cars North America CEO Timo Resch said "this initiative will ultimately support children and families in need," per the Porsche Newsroom.
Big Brothers Big Sisters CEO Artis Stevens said the partnership would "expand access to life-changing programs," ensuring "young people have a friend by their side who helps them reach their true potential." Industry observers expect the three-car package to easily surpass the $3.6 million fetched by Porsche's last Pixar collaboration — a one-off 911 inspired by Sally from the film Cars — at a 2022 RM Sotheby's auction, according to Motor Authority.
The project started at Monterey Car Week in August 2024. Pixar production designer Bob Pauley and creative director Jay Ward approached Porsche leadership about a follow-up to the Sally Special. Pauley, who originally designed the Buzz Lightyear character, oversaw how each toy translated into car form. He said the goal was "interpreting these characters through materials, color, and form — staying true to who they are without being literal," per the Porsche Newsroom.
Development ran from late 2024 through early 2026 — more than 1,000 combined hours of hand-finishing across all three cars. The denim-in-paint technique developed for the Woody car may become a permanent option for future Sonderwunsch clients, Motor1 reported. Toy Story 5 opens wide on June 19, when charitable auction activities are expected to begin alongside the film's theatrical run.
