A Head-On Collision on Missouri Route 96
The crash happened at approximately 3:50 p.m. on June 17, about 1.5 miles west of Oronogo, Missouri. Miller was driving a 2023 Ford Bronco when his vehicle crossed the center line and struck a 2024 International semi-truck head-on, according to Mediaite. The semi's driver, a 28-year-old man from Springfield, Missouri, was not injured.
Emergency crews from the Oronogo Fire Department, Jasper County Sheriff, and METS ambulance responded to the scene. Missouri Route 96 was closed for about 2.5 hours during the investigation. A MedFlight helicopter transported Miller to Mercy Hospital, where he was rushed into surgery, AL.com reported.
