Rangers Await Specialist Update After Joc Pederson Exits Game With Hand Injury

The Texas Rangers have received an update on designated hitter Joc Pederson after he was hit by a pitch during a game against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Pederson was hit on his left hand by a 93.3 mph fastball from Diamondbacks starter Brandon Pfaadt and was later replaced by pinch-hitter Justin Foscue. Initial X-rays were negative for a fracture, but Pederson will undergo further testing with a hand specialist.
