Delta and American Airlines match federal contributions for employee children's Trump Accounts.

Delta and American Airlines have announced that they will match the federal $1,000 contribution to Trump Accounts for their employees' children. The announcement comes as part of Delta's ongoing commitment to investing in financial wellbeing through profit sharing, base pay raises, and other initiatives. While eligible for the $1k contribution, children born from 2025 to 2028 are eligible for it. American Airlines will also match the $1000 for its employees' eligible children. While the Treasury Department has proposed regulations allowing employees to fund their children's accounts with pretax dollars from their paychecks, American Airlines plans to allow eligible employees to contribute up to $2,500 of pretax earnings annually to a Trump Account starting in 2027.
