Foundry Financial significantly expands Dimensional ETF portfolio across multiple funds in Q1

Foundry Financial LLC added 117,811 shares to its Dimensional US High Profitability ETF (DUHP) in Q1, bringing its total to 495,413 shares, about 7.7% of the portfolio and making DUHP its second-largest holding, with an end-period value of roughly $18.21 million.
Foundry lifted its stake in iShares Treasury Floating Rate Bond ETF (TFLO) by 37,368 shares in Q1, for a total of 50,782 shares, roughly 1.1% of its portfolio and a value of about $2.57 million.
In Dimensional International Core Equity 2 ETF (DFIC), Foundry increased its holdings by 63,153 shares in Q1 to 437,867 shares, about 6.6% of the portfolio and roughly $15.56 million in value.
Foundry raised its position in Dimensional Emerging Markets Value ETF (DFEV) by 13,685 shares in Q1, to 77,506 shares (about 1.2% of the portfolio), with an end-period value near $2.77 million.
The firm increased its stake in Dimensional Core Fixed Income ETF (DFCF) by 67,786 shares in Q1, reaching 220,753 shares (roughly 3.9% of the portfolio) and about $9.32 million in value, ranking it as the 7th-largest holding.
Pasadena-based Foundry Financial LLC made a bold bet on factor-based investing in the first quarter of 2026, adding hundreds of thousands of shares across five Dimensional ETFs. The firm's total portfolio grew to $236.06 million — a 24% jump from the prior quarter — according to its Form 13F filing with the SEC Stockzoa.
The buying spree pushed Dimensional US High Profitability ETF (DUHP) to Foundry's second-largest holding. DUHP now sits at 495,413 shares, worth roughly $18.21 million, or 7.7% of the portfolio Watchlist News.
Foundry added 117,811 shares of DUHP in Q1 alone — a 31.2% increase. The fund targets the most profitable stocks in the US market. Morningstar's Daniel Sotiroff describes it as a fund that "tends to perform like a defensive portfolio" Morningstar.
On the international side, Foundry raised its stake in Dimensional International Core Equity 2 ETF (DFIC) by 63,153 shares, reaching 437,867 total shares worth $15.56 million. That makes DFIC the firm's third-largest position at 6.6% of the portfolio Watchlist News.
Foundry also moved deep into fixed income. It added 67,786 shares of Dimensional Core Fixed Income ETF (DFCF), pushing its total to 220,753 shares worth $9.32 million. That ranks DFCF as the firm's seventh-largest holding at 3.9% of the portfolio Watchlist News.
The firm also lifted its stake in iShares Treasury Floating Rate Bond ETF (TFLO) by 37,368 shares, to 50,782 total shares worth $2.57 million. Analysts say the TFLO and DFCF purchases together suggest Foundry is hedging against interest rate swings while chasing yields above standard bond indexes Morningstar.
Foundry also added 13,685 shares of Dimensional Emerging Markets Value ETF (DFEV), bringing its total to 77,506 shares. That position is valued at roughly $2.77 million, or 1.2% of the portfolio. The move extends the firm's tilt toward value stocks in developing markets Watchlist News.
Foundry holds 71 distinct positions, with its top 10 making up 64.9% of the total portfolio. Its quarterly turnover was just 8.6%, signaling a deliberate long-term strategy rather than short-term trading Stockzoa.
Foundry's moves fit a much larger pattern. Active ETFs pulled in a record $245.21 billion in Q1 2026 — a 70% jump over 2025's record pace — according to ETFGI. Active funds accounted for nearly 90% of all ETF inflows in March 2026 alone iShares.
Dimensional Fund Advisors, which manages over $1.02 trillion in total assets, has leaned into this shift. Co-CEO Gerard O'Reilly has said the firm's strategy is to "continually prune fees and launch new ETFs" to meet advisor demand Morningstar.
