IIT Jammu awards 420 degrees to the graduating class at its seventh convocation.

IIT Jammu’s seventh convocation awarded 420 degrees to the 2026 graduating class: 209 BTech, 124 MTech, 23 MSc and 64 PhD degrees. Chief guest Shankar M. Venugopal urged graduates to embrace opportunities created by technology and innovation, while guest of honour Amitabh Ranjan encouraged them to uphold the institute’s values. The ceremony recognized top academic performers, including Vivek Kumar Shandilya with the President’s Gold Medal and Ayush Raj with the Director’s Gold Medal; postgraduate gold medals also went to Mohammad Shamsul Haq and Sheikh Aabid Nisar. The institute also unveiled “Antardrishti,” a sculpture dedicated to the graduating class.
