Kroger and Instacart launched a combined Grocery & Prescription Delivery service nationwide on August 24, 2026, allowing customers to order groceries and eligible prescriptions in a single delivery PYMNTS. The service connects customers to more than 2,200 Kroger pharmacy locations across nearly all Kroger banners, including Fred Meyer, Ralphs, and Harris Teeter Food & Beverage Magazine. Prescriptions are filled and verified by Kroger pharmacy teams, then delivered by Instacart shoppers in tamper-resistant packaging.
Customers can add groceries to a prescription order or add a prescription to a grocery order through Kroger's websites or mobile apps The Shelby Report.
