Ducks' Beckett Sennecke Named to NHL All-Rookie Team, Finishes Third for Calder Trophy
Anaheim Ducks winger Beckett Sennecke has been named to the NHL's 2025-26 All-Rookie Team, the league announced on June 12. The 20-year-old from Toronto also finished third in Calder Trophy voting — the award given to the NHL's best rookie — placing ahead of both Matthew Schaefer and Ivan Demidov, according to OC Register.

On December 9, he scored a shorthanded game-tying goal at 19:59 of the third period against Pittsburgh — the latest shorthanded tying goal by a rookie in NHL history, per SB Sun.
He also recorded his first career hat trick on January 25, 2026, including the overtime winner, in a 3-0 win over Calgary. His 197 shots on goal led all rookie forwards. His average ice time of 17:27 per game showed the coaching staff trusted him in big moments, according to Daily News.
