India Hits 53 Medals

India clinches gold in women's relay and trap shooting, raising its medal tally to 53.

India won gold in the women's 4x400m relay, with Neeru Dhanda becoming the first Indian shooter to win a gold medal in the woman’s trap individual event. This follows a silver medal in women’�s team event with Aashima Ahlawat and Manisha Keer. India also won a Bronze in the men’re 4x4m relay and another Bronze in mixed 4x100m relay. Gulveer Singh won bronze in the male's 5000 metre final, marking his third medal of the Games. India's overall medal tally stands at 53, with 6 gold, 21 silver, and 26 bronze medals.
