Onward Technologies Lands ₹33 Cr Data Center ODC Deal, Bolstering Record FY2026 Results

Promoters and promoter group entities have no interest in the awarding of the contract, addressing potential conflicts of interest around the deal.
Onward Technologies reported its strongest FY2025-26 performance with highest-ever total income of ₹550.9 crore, EBITDA of ₹71.9 crore (up 60.9% YoY) and PAT of ₹46.7 crore (up 72.3% YoY, excluding a one-time labour code item), with EBITDA margins expanding to 13.2%. Net cash position stood at ₹127.3 crore as of 31 March 2026.
Consolidated metrics show revenue growth and profitability improvements: standalone revenue ₹41,677.36 Lakhs (up 9.37% YoY) with standalone PAT ₹3,215.88 Lakhs, and consolidated revenue ₹54,385.24 Lakhs (up 10.69% YoY) with consolidated PBT ₹5,704.58 Lakhs (up 57.15% YoY).
The company has fixed July 3, 2026 as the record date for the final dividend and has announced its 35th AGM for July 16, 2026 at 3:00 PM IST via video conferencing, with remote e-voting scheduled July 13–15, 2026 and a voting eligibility cut-off of July 9, 2026. The AGM notice was published in Free Press Journal (English) and Navshakti (Marathi) on June 23, 2026.
A separate regulatory filing reports a sizable multi-year order of approximately ₹330 million focused on digital transformation and product design, expanding the company’s order book with emphasis on high-end engineering services, including dedicated offshore development centers and cross-vertical capabilities.
Onward Technologies has won a ₹33-crore engineering services contract to build a Dedicated Offshore Development Centre for a leading global power management company, according to TipRanks. The three-year deal will create dedicated R&D capacity to support the client's fast-growing data center business.
The contract win comes on the heels of the company's strongest financial year ever. Onward posted record total income of ₹550.9 crore in FY2025-26, with profit after tax jumping 72.3% year-over-year to ₹46.7 crore, TipRanks reported.
The contract, worth approximately ₹330 million over three years, asks Onward to set up what is called an Offshore Development Centre — a dedicated team of engineers working exclusively for one client. HDFC Sky reported the client is a global leader in the power management industry, though the name was not disclosed due to confidentiality terms.
The ODC model creates "sticky" revenue that is hard for clients to move elsewhere. For the power management company, the deal is a way to scale R&D capacity quickly and cheaply to meet surging global demand for data centers. Onward's board confirmed that no promoter or promoter group entity has any personal interest in the contract, clearing a key governance hurdle.
Onward's FY2025-26 results read like a milestone report card. EBITDA — a measure of operating profit — rose 60.9% year-over-year to ₹71.9 crore. EBITDA margins expanded to 13.2%. The company also ended the year with a net cash position of ₹127.3 crore as of March 31, 2026, according to TipRanks.
Consolidated revenue grew 10.69% year-over-year to ₹54,385.24 lakhs. Consolidated profit before tax surged 57.15% to ₹5,704.58 lakhs. These numbers reflect a multi-year push away from low-margin legacy IT work toward specialized engineering research and product design services.
Beyond the ₹33-crore ODC deal, a separate regulatory filing flagged by ScanX Trade reveals an additional multi-year order worth approximately ₹330 million. That order focuses on digital transformation and product design, expanding Onward's work across multiple engineering verticals.
Together, these wins build what analysts call "revenue visibility" — a clearer picture of future income over the next two to three years. With a cash-rich balance sheet, Onward is also positioned for potential acquisitions or investments in AI tools to strengthen its ODC offerings.
Onward Technologies will hold its 35th Annual General Meeting on July 16, 2026, at 3:00 PM IST via video conferencing, according to ScanX Trade. Shareholders who want to vote on AGM resolutions must be on record by July 9, 2026. Remote e-voting runs from July 13 to 15, 2026.
The company set July 3, 2026, as the record date for its final dividend. AGM notices were published in the Free Press Journal in English and Navshakti in Marathi on June 23, 2026. The meeting is expected to address capital allocation plans backed by the company's ₹127.3-crore cash position.
