Pulsar Helium Successfully Raises $25 Million, Driven by Strong Investor Demand for Topaz Project

Pulsar Helium Inc. has closed a major fundraise at approximately $25 million after strong investor demand pushed the raise above its original target. Investegate reported that a total of 25,393,329 new Common Shares were placed with new and existing investors at 75 pence per share.
The primary helium company trades on multiple exchanges, including AIM, the TSX Venture Exchange, and OTCQB. According to The Province, the new shares issued represent a significant addition to the company's existing share capital.
Pulsar Helium set out to raise capital but ended up pulling in more than planned. Investegate confirmed that strong investor demand drove the company to increase gross proceeds from the Placing and Subscription to roughly $25 million. Both new and existing investors took part in the raise.
Shares were issued at a fixed price of 75 pence each. The 25,393,329 new Common Shares will be fully paid when issued. Leader-Post noted the announcement was limited to qualified investors and did not constitute a public offer of securities.
Pulsar Helium plans to put the additional funds to work quickly. Investegate said the extra proceeds will go toward contingency costs for the Topaz Project and general corporate working capital. The Topaz Project is the company's flagship helium development asset.
Helium is a rare gas with high demand in industries like semiconductors, medical imaging, and aerospace. Pulsar describes itself as a primary helium company, meaning helium is its core product rather than a byproduct of natural gas production.
The raise was not open to the general public. National Post noted that the announcement was directed only at qualified investors within EEA Member States under existing securities law. Members of the public were not eligible to participate in the Placing.
Multiple Canadian outlets including Fort McMurray Today and Edmonton Sun carried regulatory notices making clear the fundraise could not be treated as an offer for sale. Any participation outside approved investor categories would risk violating existing law.
Helium supply has been under pressure globally for years. Major helium fields in the US, Qatar, and Russia have faced disruptions, pushing prices higher and sparking interest in new primary sources. Pulsar's Topaz Project is designed to tap into that demand directly.
The successful close of this $25 million raise gives Pulsar Helium a stronger financial base as it moves the Topaz Project forward. The Province confirmed the share issuance details, with all new shares expected to be fully paid upon issuance and admitted to trading on AIM and the TSX Venture Exchange.
