Tozorakimab Demonstrates Significant Reduction in COPD Exacerbations in Phase III Trials

Tozorakimab has shown a significant reduction in COPD exacerbations in two Phase III trials, OBERON and TITANIA. The results were published in the New England Journal of Medicine and presented at the European Respiratory Society Congress 2026. Tozoriakimab is the first biologic to demonstrate clinically meaningful efficacy in reducing moderate and severe exacerbations among a broad population of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). The trials included former and current smokers and patients across all blood eosinophil counts and all stages of lung function severity. The Biologics License Application for the US Food and Drug Administration has been accepted under Priority Review in the US for patients with COPD.
