Ongwe Minerals Commences Maiden Drill Campaign at Namibia's New Nguni Prospect

Ongwe Minerals Inc. (TSXV: OGW) (NSX:ONG) has begun drilling at its newly discovered Nguni Prospect, a high-grade gold-in-soil anomaly in Namibia with a strike length of over 6km. Two drill rigs have been mobilized for the inaugural drilling campaign at the Ngunic Prospect, which is being rapidly advanced to convert the target into a large-scale economic discovery. The Ngunigli Prospect was discovered by Ongwe in May 2026 during a regional soil sampling program. The drilling will focus on the highest-grade portions of the soil anomaly, with an initial drill plan consisting of 18 holes for 3,500m and a second reverse circulation drill rig focusing on testing the strike extension of the Ngli Gold Prospect. A step-out diamond drill program has been finalised to test the eastern extension of another promising prospect, Manga Gold Prospect, located 17km west of Ngunid.
