SMART Technologies Launches SoundFlow, Bringing Auracast Audio Directly to Classroom Devices

SMART Technologies has launched SoundFlow, the first IFP-to-Device Audio Broadcasting System, a new classroom audio accessibility solution that brings clearer, more flexible sound to everyday instruction. SoundFlow uses Auracastâ„¢ technology to broadcast clear audio from the SMART Board directly to compatible hearing aids, earbuds, headphones, personal listening devices or speakers, giving students clearer access to lesson audio from anywhere in the room. The technology also enables install-free whole-classroom audio through plug-and-play Auracasts speakers, which can be positioned where needed and reconfigured to support learning scenarios. Sound Flow is a plug-in-play solution that connects by USB to compatible SMART displays running iQ4 without complex installation. The solution supports inclusive teaching practices, adapts to different learning scenarios and helps districts make classroom audio easier to deploy and manage.
