Clemson Coach Dabo Swinney Defends Roster After Brutal Loss to LSU

Dabo Swinney, Clemson's head coach, was confronted by The State's beat reporter, Chapel Fowler, following a tough loss to LSU, who asked him if he had any regrets over the team's roster construction following the team’s 51-10 loss. Swinny responded angrily to the question, stating that he did not have any issues with the roster but was not happy with starting the year with a loss. He also questioned Fowler if he ever played football and suggested that he could answer such questions at the end of the season. Swiney, a two-time national championship-winning head coach who led Clemson to the College Football Playoff in 2024, responded by saying that the season is not over and that he has 11 more games to go battle.
