Trivest Partners Announces July 2026 Promotions, Recognizing Key Talent Across Investment and Support Teams

Trivest Partners has announced a round of promotions across multiple teams at its Miami-based private equity firm, according to Financial Post. The July 2026 promotions span the Mid-Market Fund investment team, the Portfolio Support Group, Business Development, and Investor Relations. Trivest manages approximately $6 billion in assets under management.
The firm said the promotions reflect its commitment to developing talent from within. The moves recognize team members who have driven Trivest's continued growth across its investment and operational divisions, according to National Post.
Tarek Mohamed and Yonatan Naymark both received promotions on the Mid-Market Fund investment team. Tarek joined Trivest in 2022 and has been involved in all aspects of the investment process, according to Financial Post. That includes sourcing deals, evaluating targets, and supporting portfolio companies after investment.
National Post noted that the promotions also extend to Trivest's Growth Investment Fund team. That means the firm is strengthening leadership on both of its core investment platforms at the same time.
Jamie Lukaszewski, CPA, was promoted to Senior Director of Finance within Trivest's Portfolio Support Group, according to Edmonton Sun. The Portfolio Support Group works directly with Trivest's portfolio companies. It provides operational and financial guidance to help those businesses grow.
Lori Cunningham was promoted to Vice President within Trivest's Business Development team. Chris Norton was also promoted to Vice President, but within the Investor Relations and Operations team. Both promotions were reported by Leader Post.
Business Development focuses on finding and building new investment opportunities. Investor Relations manages communication with the firms and individuals who invest in Trivest's funds. Having vice presidents leading both teams signals growth in those functions, according to Montreal Gazette.
Trivest Partners is headquartered in Miami and focuses on investing in founder-led and family-owned businesses. The firm's $6 billion in assets under management puts it firmly in the mid-market private equity space, according to Brantford Expositor.
Promoting from within is a deliberate strategy for the firm. By elevating existing team members rather than hiring outside, Trivest keeps institutional knowledge and rewards loyalty. Ontario Farmer reported that the promotions recognize contributions that have directly supported the firm's continued success.
