Netcracker's Agentic AI Solution Secures Prestigious AI Excellence Award for Boosting Business Results

Netcracker Technology has won the 2026 AI Excellence Award for its Agentic AI Solution, according to Financial Post. The Business Intelligence Group gave the honor, citing results like network rollouts that are 10 times faster and customer issue resolution that is 70% quicker.
The award puts Netcracker at the front of a fast-moving shift in the telecom industry. Companies are moving from AI that suggests actions to AI that actually takes them — what the industry calls "agentic" AI. The agentic AI market in telecom is projected to reach $4.63 billion in 2026, growing at a rate of 13.55% per year, according to Mordor Intelligence.
The Business Intelligence Group named Netcracker's solution the winner in the Telecommunications category on June 2, 2026. Russ Fordyce, the group's Chief Recognition Officer, said the winners are "not talking about AI. They are building with it." He added that "the sheer accountability of the work stood out."
Netcracker's Chief Strategy Officer, Ari Banerjee, said the company was "among the first to bring AI purpose-built for the communications industry to market." He said the award validates their approach to setting "a new benchmark for scale, trust, and measurable business impact," according to Calgary Sun.
The award was based on real deployment data from Netcracker's global customers. Network rollouts are now 10 times faster. New service offers reach customers 2.5 times faster. Network faults are isolated and fixed 20 times faster than before, according to Shoreline Beacon.
The results go beyond speed. Sales conversions for small and medium businesses jumped 30%. Customer and billing issues take 70% less time to resolve. The solution includes more than 60 pre-built AI agents that can be deployed right away, without building from scratch.
This award is not the first sign of industry confidence. In February 2026, Frost & Sullivan gave Netcracker three "Best Practices" awards, including Global OSS/BSS Technology Innovation Leadership. Juniper Research followed days later with a Platinum Award for AI Innovation in Telco. In May, Netcracker took home two Gold Stevie Awards at the American Business Awards.
Swisscom, a major European carrier, helped validate the solution in the real world. Rudolf Strijkers, Lead Architect at Swisscom, described the partnership as a blueprint for "AI-driven autonomy at scale" and cited a 60% reduction in deployment times. Netcracker and Swisscom announced their joint autonomous networks blueprint in June 2025, according to Ontario Farmer.
Not everyone is celebrating. Research from Fierce Network found that only about one-third of telecom companies feel their infrastructure is truly ready to support autonomous AI agents. VentureBeat research from early 2026 warned that many agentic systems run on "stateless infrastructure" that breaks down in complex production environments.
There is also a human problem. Some analysts flag "automation bias" — the tendency for people to trust AI outputs even when they are wrong. Netcracker CEO Andrew Feinberg addressed this directly at Mobile World Congress in March 2026, saying "responsible AI implementation" must come first. The EU AI Act and new US state laws in 2026 are now forcing companies to prove their governance controls actually work, not just exist on paper.
