Green Bay Packers Begin 2026 Season Against Minnesota Vikings on Sunday

The Green Bay Packers will begin their 2026 season with a game against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, Sept. 13, in Minneapolis. This marks the third time in the last seven years the two teams are meeting in a season opener. The game will air on CBS. The Packers, who are only 2-3 in their last five season openers, have lost four of their last seven games in Minneapolis, including their last two in the past. The Vikings are starting a new era at the quarterback position with Kyler Murray replacing Malik Willis. If two starters can't go, both Zach Bako-Bewele and Aaron Banks are questionable with knee injuries. The Green Bay team had 16 new players on their initial 53-man roster, including five of their six-player draft class.
