Domino's China Deepens Market Leadership with Continued Store Expansion and Sales Momentum in Q2 2026

Domino's Pizza China operator DPC Dash (1405.HK) added 235 net new stores in the first half of 2026, bringing its total to 1,550 locations across 75 cities, according to Yahoo Finance. The company also entered 15 new cities in the same period, pushing deeper into China's fast-growing food delivery market.
The expansion comes alongside improving sales momentum and a new strategic partnership designed to accelerate growth. DPC Dash is the exclusive master franchisee for Domino's in mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau.
DPC Dash opened stores at a rapid clip between January 1 and June 30, 2026. The company now operates 532 stores in Tier 1 cities — China's biggest urban markets — and 1,018 stores in smaller, non-Tier 1 cities, according to UK Yahoo Finance. That split shows the company is betting heavily on growth outside the country's most saturated markets.
Non-Tier 1 cities now account for nearly two-thirds of DPC Dash's total store count. That focus on smaller cities is a common playbook for fast-food chains looking to find new customers as top-tier markets get crowded.
DPC Dash signed a strategic partnership with SCPG Group, one of China's leading shopping mall operators, according to CA Yahoo Finance. SCPG runs over 220 projects across 55 cities. The deal gives DPC Dash access to prime retail space in malls where foot traffic is already high.
The partnership is designed to do two things at once: go deeper in cities where Domino's already operates and move faster into new markets. For a brand still building name recognition outside China's biggest cities, securing well-placed mall locations could be a key growth lever.
On the product side, DPC Dash broadened its menu with new global flavors and launched a promotional set menu called "Victory Is Ours," according to ADVFN. The company did not break out sales figures for specific items, but menu innovation is a core part of its strategy to win over Chinese consumers.
DPC Dash also expanded its loyalty program to support digital sales and customer engagement. Loyalty programs help fast-food chains collect data on buying habits and keep customers coming back. Digital orders are a major revenue driver in China, where food delivery apps are widely used.
Adding 235 stores in six months is a significant pace. For context, DPC Dash now operates 1,550 stores total — meaning it added roughly 15% more locations in just one half-year period. The company has steadily grown from a small base since taking on the China franchise rights.
China's pizza market remains competitive, with local and international brands all fighting for share. But DPC Dash's mix of rapid store openings, a major mall partnership, and a growing digital customer base suggests the company is building the kind of scale that makes it harder for rivals to catch up, according to Yahoo Finance.
