Sinch Reports Accelerated Q2 Revenue Growth, Appoints New Acting CEO

Sinch AB reported accelerated revenue growth in the second quarter of 2026, with net sales climbing to SEK 6,866 million from SEK 6,616 million a year earlier — an organic increase of 6 percent, according to PR Newswire. The Americas region led the way, helping offset a 3 percent drag from currency effects.
EBITDA grew 7 percent, while adjusted EBITDA reached SEK 858 million, up 4 percent on an organic basis. The results came alongside a leadership shake-up and a fourth straight year atop the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Communications Platform as a Service.
Sinch posted net sales of SEK 6,866 million in Q2 2026, up from SEK 6,616 million in the same quarter last year, Yahoo Finance reported. Organic revenue growth hit 6 percent. However, currency swings knocked 3 percentage points off reported growth, limiting the headline gain.
Gross profit came in at SEK 2,300 million, compared to SEK 2,322 million a year ago — a 2 percent increase on a reported basis. The Americas region was the standout performer, leading growth across Sinch's global operations.
Jonas Dahlberg, who also serves as CFO, was appointed acting CEO following the departure of Laurinda Pang, according to PR Newswire. Dahlberg will lead what the company described as "the next phase of execution and growth."
The leadership reshuffle did not stop there. Sinch also brought in Jonathan Bean as EVP of EMEA and Global Partnerships. Sophie Cheng joined as Chief Marketing Officer. Both appointments signal a push to strengthen go-to-market and regional execution.
Sinch was named a leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Communications Platform as a Service for the fourth year in a row, Yahoo Finance reported. The Gartner Magic Quadrant ranks companies in a technology market based on their vision and ability to deliver. Holding the top spot four consecutive times puts Sinch among a small group of repeat leaders in the cloud communications space.
Adjusted EBITDA reached SEK 858 million in Q2 2026, compared to SEK 869 million a year earlier on a reported basis. On an organic basis, that marks a 4 percent rise, according to PR Newswire. Overall EBITDA grew 7 percent. The gap between reported and organic figures reflects the same currency pressure that weighed on revenue.
The results suggest Sinch is making progress on cost discipline even as it invests in new leadership and regional expansion. With the Americas already showing momentum, the company heads into the second half of 2026 with its growth story intact — if currency conditions ease.
