Hacienda licita por 604,8 millones el nuevo contrato de gestión de viajes del Estado

Spain's Ministry of Finance is opening a public tender for a massive €604.8 million contract to manage all government travel. This represents an 78% increase from the previous contract, which was worth €340 million El Correo Web.
The outgoing €340 million contract was split among three providers. Ávoris, Viajes El Corte Inglés, and a joint venture called UTE—formed by Nautalia and IAG7 Viajes—currently manage Spain's state travel arrangements La Opinión de Zamora.
The new tender nearly doubles previous spending on government travel. The jump from €340 million to €604.8 million suggests the government is either increasing travel needs or expanding service requirements. This scale makes the contract one of Spain's largest public procurement deals Información.
The tender is now open to all qualified travel management companies across Spain and the EU. Incumbent providers Ávoris, Viajes El Corte Inglés, Nautalia, and IAG7 Viajes will compete alongside new bidders Diario de Mallorca. The contract will determine which companies manage flights, hotels, and transportation for Spanish government officials and employees nationwide.
