Capcom Reveals Street Fighter 6 Year 4 DLC Lineup, Headlined by Final Fantasy VII's Tifa

Capcom revealed Street Fighter 6’s Year 4 DLC during Summer Game Fest, announcing four new additions arriving over the next year: Yasmine in Summer 2026, Arjun in Autumn 2026, Tifa Lockhart in early 2027, and Bosch in Spring 2027. The headline guest is Tifa from Final Fantasy VII, a long-requested collaboration character making her first appearance as a fully playable fighter in a major third-party AAA game outside of Square Enix titles. Capcom also confirmed new characters Elena, Arjun, and Bosch joining alongside Tifa, with Elena matching the previously announced Year 4 lineup and Bosch returning as a notable World Tour mainstay and early rival from the single-player mode. While Capcom hasn’t released full movesets, stages, or costume details yet, the roster will be rolled out sequentially as the year progresses, starting with Yasmine. Overall, the lineup’s mix of brand-new fighters and one major returning World Tour character may disappoint some longtime players hoping for more familiar faces.
One report says Capcom will adapt Tifa’s signature techniques—specifically “Unbridled Strength” and “Meteor Strike”—into Street Fighter 6’s combat system as she’s added to the Year 4 roster.
Gaming site GameRant notes that Year 4 begins in August, with Yasmine and Arjun arriving first when the Year 4 rollout kicks off.
A character-preview piece (based on the reveal art/design) describes Yasmine’s look in detail—blue-and-white attire with what appears to be a karate gi and long purplish hair—and suggests she could be another “Shoto” type fighter, even though full gameplay details haven’t been released yet.
A separate report claims Capcom’s decision to add Tifa returns her to fighting games “after 27 years.”
