Samy "dralii" Hajji is now in a class of his own. His third Esports World Cup Rocket League title — after wins in 2024 and 2025 — makes him the sole player to win the event three times, according to Indian Broadcasting World. No other player has matched that record since the tournament began.
While dralii made history, Rw9 was the standout performer of the tournament. His MVP numbers — 0.78 goals, 0.83 assists, and 1.91 saves per game — showed a player who contributed at every phase. Teammates Kiileerrz and dralii also played key roles in keeping Falcons' roster among the best in the world, per Gamereactor.
The Rocket League win was part of a bigger week for Falcons. Sheep Esports reported that the club also won the Chess event at EWC 2026, adding more points to their total. The combined haul pushed them to 4,400 Club Championship points, ahead of AG.AL International by 300 points.
The Club Championship rewards esports organizations that perform across multiple game titles at EWC. Falcons have now won the overall championship in both 2024 and 2025. Gamereactor noted they are the only organization to ever claim the title, making them heavy favorites to win it again in 2026.
Falcons' EWC 2026 run is far from over. The CS2 tournament draw placed them in the same half of the bracket as Team Vitality, Team Spirit, Natus Vincere, and FaZe Clan, according to Shane the Gamer. That means at most one of those powerhouse teams can reach the grand final.
The loaded bracket sets up must-watch matchups in the CS2 knockout rounds. Falcons will need to beat multiple elite squads just to reach the final. Their Rocket League squad just showed they can handle pressure — the CS2 team will need to do the same, per Shane the Gamer.
