Boat Left Powerless and Adrift Near Shoreline

All Nine Passengers Evaluated, No Serious Injuries

After the rescue, deputies transported all nine passengers to South Side Marina. There, they were met by South Haven Area Emergency Services EMS crews, according to The Times Herald. Medical staff evaluated each person on scene.

No serious injuries were reported among the nine passengers. Given the 79 mph wind gusts and the boat's complete loss of control, the outcome could have been far worse. All nine walked away from the incident without major harm.
