Disney Kicks Off 'Camp Rock 3' Tour, Bringing Film Experience to Camps and Funding Scholarships

Disney is hitting the road this summer to celebrate the return of a beloved franchise. The company has launched the "All Roads Lead to Camp" bus tour, traveling to summer camps across the United States to mark the premiere of "Camp Rock 3," according to ABC7.
The tour will stop at American Camp Association (ACA) accredited camps, bringing a pop-up experience to campers nationwide. It is set to wrap up at D23: The Ultimate Fan Event in Anaheim, California, on August 14, ABC30 reported.
The bus tour is not just a road trip — it is a full camp experience on wheels. Stops will feature a throwback "Disney Knees" photo shoot, a signature pose fans of the original films will recognize. Other photo opportunities are also planned at each location, ABC7 New York reported.
The pop-up experience is designed to bring Camp Rock energy directly to real summer camps. Disney is aiming to give campers a taste of the movie before it premieres, building buzz from the ground up.
The tour has a charitable side too. Disney is partnering with the American Camp Association to offer scholarships for under-served kids to attend summer camp, ABC11 reported. The ACA accredits more than 3,000 camps across the country.
The scholarship program ties the movie's themes of inclusion and community directly to real-world impact. It gives kids who might not otherwise afford camp a chance to experience it firsthand.
The film brings back major stars from the original movies. Joe Jonas, Nick Jonas, and Kevin Jonas — the Jonas Brothers — are all returning, along with Maria Canals-Barrera, according to ABC30. The original "Camp Rock" debuted on Disney Channel in 2008 and was a massive hit.
A sequel, "Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam," followed in 2010. Now, more than a decade later, the third installment is bringing the gang back together. Fans have waited 15 years for this continuation.
The bus tour's final destination is D23: The Ultimate Fan Event in Anaheim, California, on August 14. D23 is Disney's official fan convention and draws tens of thousands of attendees each year. It is one of the biggest events on the Disney calendar, ABC7 reported.
Ending the tour at D23 gives Disney a built-in stage to generate maximum excitement just before the film's premiere. It puts "Camp Rock 3" front and center for the brand's most dedicated fans right at the finish line.
