Legionella Found in 10 Bronx Cooling Towers

The city’s investigation began Thursday and covers Bronx ZIP codes 10451 and 10456. Eight of the 10 towers that tested positive were compliant with the 31-day testing requirement that took effect May 8, while two locations—820 Concourse Village West and 1265 Franklin Ave.—had not provided the required testing information.
