Pokémon Champions Launches on Mobile June 17, Introducing Regulation M-B and Mega Raichu Event
Pokémon Champions, a Nintendo Switch–exclusive competitive battle game, will launch on iOS and Android on June 17, 2026, after months of exclusivity. The Pokémon Company International says preregistration is now open and that players can link their Nintendo account to enable cross progression between Switch and mobile. That same day also marks the start of the Regulation M-B ruleset update, which is expected to shake up the metagame just as a new wave of mobile players joins existing Switch competitors. To celebrate the mobile debut and the Regulation M-B season, the company will run a Mega Raichu event from June 17 through September 2, 2026, awarding Raichu along with Raichunite X and Raichunite Y via in-game mail for both platforms. Raichunite X and Raichunite Y let Raichu Mega Evolve into two forms with distinct abilities: Electric Surge, which creates Electric Terrain for five turns and boosts grounded Electric-type move power, and No Guard, which makes all moves hit with 100% accuracy.
